MUSIC MINISTRY
We love to come together as a church family to worship. We mix great hymns, choruses, and new songs to honor our Lord as we worship. Our goal is to glorify God as we worship Him through praise, confession, thanksgiving, adoration, and humbly coming into His presence for His guidance, correction, and love. Our worship services are Sunday at 8:00 am and 10:30 am.
Here are some of the ways you can be part of our worship ministry here at Pickens First Baptist Church:
The PFBC Adult Choir
- The adult choir rehearses on Wednesday’s at 6:30 pm. The choir welcomes anyone who would like to come and sing. The choir normally sings in the 10:30 am service. Some special Sunday’s the choir and orchestra sing and play in both services.
The PFBC Orchestra
- The orchestra rehearses at 6:15 pm on Wednesdays in the sanctuary. A proficiency with your instrument is important. The orchestra normally plays in the 10:30 am service. Some special Sunday’s the orchestra will perform in both.
The Children’s Choir
- We have our children sing in the fall and the spring mainly through our AWANA ministry. Children’s groups are formed to sing special songs at Christmas and Easter.
Small Group Ensembles
- We have Small Group Ensembles made up of youth and adults who help lead our worship services each week.
