Senior Pastor

 

Daniel graduated from Berea High School and Gardner-Webb University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies. He then received a Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and, later, earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Reformed Theological Seminary. Daniel’s hobbies include hiking the Appalachian Trail, football, a good walk, a good cup of coffee, and a good book. He enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters.

 

 

Associate Pastor and Music Minister

Bryan is our Associate Pastor and Minister of Worship at Pickens First Baptist Church. He has served at PFBC for more than 20 years. He is married to Angie and they have 3 boys, Austin, Aaron and Alex. He graduated from Southern Wesleyan University with his B.A. in Church Music. Bryan finished his Master of Divinity degree at New Orleans Seminary in 1996. Bryan loves to spend time with his wife and family, play tennis, golf, read and drive his Chevrolet pickup.

Student Pastor

Colton oversees our student ministry and has been a part of the Pickens community his whole life. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from Anderson University. Additionally, he holds a Master’s Degree in Education Administration and Supervision from Anderson University. In addition to his ministry at the church, Colton works in public education. He is married to Lauren and they have two children.

 

Preschool Director

Jennifer is our Preschool Director and has served at PFBC since August 2007. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from Anderson College in 2002 and her Masters of Education from Southern Wesleyan University in 2011. In addition to her position here at the church, she teaches math at Pickens Middle School. She is married and has two sons.

 

 

 

Church Secretary

Tricia is our Church Secretary and has been here at Pickens First Baptist Church for over 30 years. She is married and has 3 children. She loves teaching preschoolers in Sunday School, reading, swimming, chocolate and spending time with her family.

 

Financial Secretary

Katie is our Financial Secretary. She has been a member of our staff since 2016. Katie is a familiar face at Pickens First Baptist as this was her home church growing up. She has worked in Accounting for 13 years. Katie and her husband, Corey, have a daughter and a son.
