Christian Beliefs
This study gives an overview of the main teachings of the Christian faith. Each session will include 40 minutes of teaching by Wayne Grudem (DVD) and 10-15 minutes of discussion led by Fred Stone. Grudem is one of today’s most respected Christian teachers and writers. Dr. Al Mohler explains why
“Wayne Grudem is a master teacher with the ability to explain profound truths in simple language. He is a man of deep conviction and theological passion – and those who watch these DVDs will be both educated and encouraged in the faith.”

The Foundations: Psalm 11:3
“If the Foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” Millions of Christians have decided that the Bible is out of date. They’ve decided that the words of Jesus aren’t always true. The Foundations—Ken Ham’s signature DVD series based on 30 years of ministry—reveals the alarming state of Christianity today.
The Foundations affirms the inerrancy and authority of God’s Word unlike any other study! Ken Ham addresses urgent concerns in society and reveals what must be done to reach today’s culture for Christ.
Location: Room E106 | Facilitators: Mendel Stewart & Oscar Thorsland

The focus of this course will be to study the book of Acts, however it is much more than a bible study. In addition to studying Acts, we will also focus upon training how to (1) Give your testimony; (2) Share a plan of salvation; and (3) How to study the bible. This course is for everyone who is interested in growing as a disciple, learning how to study your bible, and learning how to be on mission in your daily life.

As the years pass and we watch more and more of our family, friends and mentors pass away, it is only natural to ask questions about heaven. However, our understanding of heaven is often limited to a few half-forgotten Sunday School lessons and the insubstantial images provided by popular movies and T.V. Fortunately, in Heaven Randy Alcorn provides us with a thoroughly researched and biblically definitive description of heaven. Alcorn addresses our most serious questions about heaven, including the nature of judgment, and answers a few of our less serious questions as well. Participants will de-velop a deeper understanding of our eternal destination and find the courage to strive for heaven while living on earth.

Men’s Bible Study
Twelve Ordinary Men
In Twelve Ordinary Men, you’ll discover that contrary to popular belief, we do not have to be perfect to do God’s work. Look no further than the twelve disciples whose many weaknesses are forever preserved throughout the pages of the New Testament. Jesus chose ordinary men – fishermen, tax collectors, political zealots – and turned their weakness into strength, producing greatness from utter uselessness. Join MacArthur as he draws principles from Christ’s careful, hands-on training of the original twelve disciples for today’s modern disciple – you!

Ladies Sunday Evening Bible Study
Twelve Extraordinary Women
Celebrated for their courage, vision, hospitality, and spiritual giftedness, it’s no wonder women were so important to God’s place revealed in the Old and New Testaments. It wasn’t their natural qualities that made these women extraordinary but the power of the one true God whom they worshipped and served. Their struggles and temptations are the same trials faced by all believers at all ages. In Twelve Extraordinary Women, you’ll learn more than fascinating information about these women, you’ll discover–perhaps for the first time–the unmistakable chronology of God’s redemptive work in history through their lives. These women were at the very heart of God’s plan, and this study includes their amazing stories.

Ladies Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Many people feel they are less than who God says they are. We get our identity from our careers, our political positions, our roles in the family, and a number of other lesser things. However, when we understand who God is, we more fully understand who we are.
Begins January 14th 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Room: E357 Facilitator: Ida Breazeale
While often overlooked, the Book of Jude remains as relevant today as the time it was written. God has commanded His beloved church to do the necessary work of contending for the faith in a world of unbelief, and as we do, He will keep us from falling into the same deception. In this study dive into themes of being called, loved, and kept, and learn how to point others to Jesus in grace and truth. We serve others well when we share the whole gospel with them, not just the parts deemed attractive by our culture.
Begins January 28th from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Room E 250 Facilitators: Judy Holder and Helen Batson
