PFBC Student Ministry exists to partner with parents to raise their children to be worshipping, evangelizing, learning, and loving disciples of Jesus Christ.

What We Believe

We believe that God has commanded parents to be the primary disciplers of their children and that the church is called to partner with parents in this task. We believe that a student ministry program should be age-graded as well as family-integrated. We believe that a student ministry program should resource, train, and involve parents to equip them to raise their family for God’s glory. We believe that a student ministry program should contain the elements of worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, and service.

Sunday School

Sunday school for youth is at 9:15am located in the Xchange. We meet as a large group for prayer and announcements. We then divide up into the following small groups:
  • Sixth grade co-ed: Taught by Matt and Lisa Petty
  • Middle school girls: Taught by Renee Anders and Lynn Williams
  • Middle school guys: Taught by Chip Dunn and Kevin Phillips
  • High school girls: Taught by Ami Hinkle, Lori Alexander, and Melodee Thomas
  • High school guys: Taught by Gene Hinkle and Bruce Anders
  • Twelfth grade co-ed: Taught by Mike and Karen Sterlachini

D-Groups is our small group, discipleship ministry that meets on Sunday nights from 6:00pm-7:00pm in the Xchange during the school year. These classes are 6-12 week topical courses on subjects like apologetics, Christian living, worldview, and evangelism training. A free dinner is served at 5:30pm.

Refuel is our student worship that meets every Wednesday night from 6:30pm-7:30pm in the Xchange. Each session has icebreakers and team-building games, followed by praise and worship led by our youth band. Pastor Mike then preaches the Word of God, showing our youth how it applies to their lives today.
